The following is a list of teams that The New York Paranormal Society collaborates with. We enjoy working with groups that have different methodologies and philosophies regarding the paranormal, as we can all learn new things from each other. We only partner with groups that we feel are serious, scientific, and respectful of the field, clients, and other paranormal groups. Scared! The brainchild of Brian J. Cano and Christopher Mancuso, Scared! started out as urban explorers who investigated paranormal activity at abandoned locations and cemeteries on Staten Island. Their show "Scared on Staten island!" was a popular mainstay on local cable access stations. They are responsible for putting Staten Island, NY on the paranormal map, and nowadays work with big names in the paranormal comunity such as John Zaffis. Staten Island Paranormal Society The Staten Island Paranormal Society (SIPS) has been investigating the haunted locations of Staten Island since 2005. Founded by Amy Raiola, SIPS has investigated haunted Staten island locations such as Snug Harbor and the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum, as well as a funeral home, cemeteries, and the Shanley Hotel. Amy was also interviewed for TAPS Paramagazine for the article they did on The Conference House.
The Darkside Paranormal of Staten Island Founded by Lynette Thmpson in 2005, The Darkside is one of the longest-running paranormal investigations teams on Staten Island. They have recently redesigned their website and have added a number of new evidence clips.
Haunt Jaunts Created by Courtney Mroch, Haunt Jaunts is a travel blog that focuses mainly on supposedly haunted locations. But there is other great content on her blog as well, dealing with paranormal TV shows, movies, books, and more. A well-written blog with a very loyal and friendly reader base.

On Friday, October 21st, the Scared! crew will be premiering their newest documentary, "Haunted Snug Harbor" at Snug Harbor Cultural Center. The film looks at the history of Snug Harbor as well as claims of paranormal activty, and features Scared!, SIPS and us here at NYPS investigating locations on the grounds such as the Governor's House, Matron's House, and Cottage B. if you're in the NYC area you should come check it out!
