Narragansett Historical Society: Templeton, MA - November 5th, 2011 The New York Paranormal Society was given the opportunity to investigate this amazing museum in Templeton, Massachusetts. Curators of the museum have reported hearing footsteps, the sounds of glasses clinking in the kitchen, doors opening and unlocking by themselves, and the general feeling of a presence in the building. Snug Harbor: Staten Island, NY - May 19th, 2011 The New York Paranormal Society was joined by special guest Matt Haas, author and founder of Sleepy Hollow Paranormal, to investigate the Matron's Cottage at Snug Harbor on Staten Island. A history of dark secrets, rumors, murder and mob justice surround the house, and employees, park rangers and even our own team members have had strange experiences in the house. Snug Harbor: Staten Island, NY - February 19th, 2011 The New York Paranormal Society joined up with SCARED!, SIPS and PISI to investigate The Governor's House at Snug Harbor on Staten Island, New York. Private Residence: Long Island, NY - November 20th, 2010 The New York Paranormal Society was asked to investigate this private home on Long Island, New York. The family has reported hearing whispers, voices and conversations, footsteps on the second floor and in the hallway, knocks, taps and sliding sounds on the walls, and the apparition of a little girl. Private Residence: Brooklyn, NY - November 12th, 2010 The New York Paranormal Society was called in to investigate this private home in Brooklyn, New York. Residents have reported hearing voices and conversations, footsteps on the stairs and in the hallway, knocks, taps and sliding sounds on the doors and walls, and even rare appearances of shadow people and apparitions. On Friday, October 21st, the Scared! crew will be premiering their newest documentary, "Haunted Snug Harbor" at Snug Harbor Cultural Center. The film looks at the history of Snug Harbor as well as claims of paranormal activty, and features Scared!, SIPS and us here at NYPS investigating locations on the grounds such as the Governor's House, Matron's House, and Cottage B. if you're in the NYC area you should come check it out!
